A saucer that is actually big enough to hold cookies! GENIUS.
I have that EXACT TEACUP AND SAUCER. Would you be interested in having it, so you will then have a set? Because I have a, uh, lot of them I've collected and rarely use.
What a great husband! Love the giant saucer.
Oh, man! I LOVE "tea and biscuit" sets! I have some Japanese ones that are wooden, that my great-grandma brought back from Japan in the 50s and I have some American style molded glass sets from my grandma, that were better suited for cake and punch.
Fun! You've got a great husband!
How cute :) And how sweet of your husband.
Hope you enjoy your tea and your sociopaths! (kind of weird to write that!)
Omg! The saucer! Room for a snack too= pure genius! Love it!
I covet that tea cup. I need two of them so that my daughter and I can have afternoon snack together.
Suzanne- YOU HAVE A COLLECTION?? You should totally do a POST on them!! I will link to it! I am FASCINATED with these things I hadn't realized existed! THANK YOU for the offer of a twin to mine! I had to think it over for a lonnnng time, and then thought no, I think I want it to be My One Set From Paul. But now I like the idea that you and I are teacup/saucer-set twins! You have to use yours now!
Love the tea cup and I've read that book and loved it. Very illuminating. We'll see if you are as weird as I after you've finished it. I diagnosed everyone I met for about a month later. ALL Sociopaths..what are the chances ?
Twue Wuv! It will fowow you foweva...so tweasure your wuv. (I may be drinking.)
Very, very nice Paul!!
Nice husband move! Let us know how the book is.
I do not EVER want to read that book.
I love the cup and saucer set. Could you tell me who the maker is?
Maureen- It says "Nantucket Home" and "made in China" on the bottom.
Clearly he's trying to get into your pants with such a suave maneuver!
My boss read that book a couple years ago and now quotes it incessantly. But perhaps your life might have less cause to discuss psycopathy...
Wow, that's so Miss Marple: tea and biscuits and psychopaths. Nice!
AWESOME! That is sweet. Also? That saucer is perfect. It can hold a tiny scone!
lovely. I wasn't aware of "tea and biscuit" saucers. I was imagining tea and teabag and teaspoon. either way, lovely.
nicely done Paul, though it probably doesn't quite make up for 1/3 = 0.33333...
Love that Paul!
What a great tea cup & saucer!
