I was a bit apprehensive when you posted the pics of the freshly painted room, but it looks awesome with the bunk beds! I, too, would have loved this as a kid.
When they are fully adult, and painting rooms in their own homes, your boys will suddenly realize just how much their parents loved them. You guys totally rock.
That is completely perfect. I am in love with that idea and if we get bunks for my older son, that is exactly what I am doing, even tho he is not sharing a room, b/c it looks so utterly cool.
That is amazing. I LOVE IT and I can only assume that your boys love it too. It looked very bright when the room was bare, but with the furniture it, it's perfect. Can I hire you to come and choose some paint colours at my house? When we bought the house, we had to paint nearly every room and I dithered like you would not believe.
This is such a great idea! Why isn't every single person who has bunk beds doing this regularly? I can't believe how well that works. It makes me want to have more children so I can do it! Did you and/or Paul think of this yourselves? Send in this idea to a magazine that will pay you for it!
I so, so, so love this! And in my searching around for some storage stuff this weekend, I see that the orange and green are both hot colors in baskets and bins - you could do separate storage stuff for them! I mean, if you needed to, or anything.
I LOVE the result of that paint job - and I'm totally impressed with the painting and planning skills it took to pull that off. We are NOT good painters. At all.

I have an affiliate relationship with Amazon.com. That means that if I link to something Amazon.com sells, and you click through and buy it within a certain short period of time, I'll get something like 4 cents on the dollar. If you want to avoid Amazon.com giving me the cents, but you also want to buy something I mention, you can go separately to Amazon.com (like, not through my link) and buy the item that way. Or, wait more than 24 hours between adding the item to the cart and buying it.
I also have an affiliate relationship with Early-Pregnancy-Tests.com, started at my initiation after I bought a bunch of tests from them and really liked them. I don't mention them often (it doesn't come up much), but when I DO, if you follow my link and buy some too, I'll get a small commission for that.
ALSO-also, if you were to buy something with my name on it from Zazzle.com, I would make 10%. I tried to decrease that amount to 0%, but it won't let me decrease it below 10%. I'll add that money to the care package fund.

Very cool!
That looks awesome. What a creative way to make sure each boy gets exactly what he wants! I kind of wish my bedroom looked like that.
So cute!!! Do the boys love it??

I love it! Now the real question is... do THEY love it? (I bet they do...)

Hope your boys are as impressed as us ladies in the comment section!
Wow! That turned out really well! I'll have to remember this for future room-painting!
THAT IS AWESOME.
I really really like that. The colors are just BRILLIANT. Like a Caribbean island.
This is great! I would have just told the that the both wanted blue and gone with it. Your idea is better.
I love it!
That is brilliant. I'm totally filing that idea away for if/when we ever get bunk beds. I will definitely be doing that.

That looks super cool and it's SO WELL DONE. Straight lines and ALL. (We--ahem--can't really paint like that in this house.)
