Ha ha ha ha! That's how I feel too! Good thing the fun size don't have any calories or fat! Enjoy the lifestyle change - seems like an easy one to stick to :-)

OHMYGOODNESS, we are fun size diet twins, too! My husband came home yesterday and went to grab some clearance candy and goes, "I thought you bought Kit Kats, too?" I totally lied and denied having ever bought them because I ATE THEM ALL.

Also, lorid: they don't have calories or fat? THAT IS AWESOME. I wondered why they were called "fun size."

that was HILARIOUS!!!
i swear i love and halloween for the same reasons!

thanks for the laugh this morning.

Because they are practically, hardly even a taste of the candy, they contain absolutely no calories or fat grams at all. This is what I have always heard.

I think I'm already fun size- you know, pleasantly plump, plump and jolly... Those descriptions all sound fun, right?

Love it! My current diet is going to Costco and eating as many samples as humanly possible and then having a hot dog, churro, and a latte freeze.

it's a known fact that anything you eat standing in front of an open refrigerator has no calories at all. so all the fun-size candy that i stashed in the freezer (yum! frozen candy!) is fair game.

and shannon? we were separated at birth. i am also on the costco diet.

Ooh fun-size!

Sadly with my new flingin' flangin' braces I can't enjoy any of my leftover candy and wonder what the heck I'm going to do with it.

That is awesome. I think I might switch my healthy living plan to be more like yours.

Dear WW,

I have found someone better. It's over.

You make me smile. Fun-size, hehe. It seems to me that those little chocolates are way more lethal, because you can fit a whole one into your mouth (or maybe just I can? picture me red-faced) and then it seems harmless. I mean, it's just a BITE. It can't amount to anything. Even if you eat twenty-six of them.

I think the skim milk is key. Sounds like my kind of diet.

Oh yes, this is very similar to my post-Halloween diet. :) Love it. (For now.)

Hah!

Exactly WHY are they "fun" size? I thought the original size was pretty fun.

Does anyone remember what year they switched over to smaller sized bars? I remember bars being full sized at Halloween when I was a kid (which is why you saw very few chocolate bars), but I can't remember when that was.

Pann said...

Bwahahahahahahah!

That's great.

I too am apparently having this lifestyle change. Once we run out of halloween candy, it will be such a relief.

My size is pretty fun already. :)

oh man...i want to be fun size..i've already had two fun size hersheys this morning

Oh, too funny! This is how I eat, too. Of course, it's all fun and games until you have to get a root canal...

Penny said...

har! "fun size!"

You must really need the calcium, what with all that milk chocolate.

Linda said...

That's MY lifestyle! Of course, mine is slightly more healthy because I drink a lot of skim milk to wash down that chocolate. Skim milk doesn't have calories~it's SKIM!

I love you, Swistle and your humor.

ooh this is funny.

I can't think of a witty comment.

Despite having a child too young to trick or treat, I still managed to canabalize my OWN candy (that I paid for.) They were MINIs and so I should be beginning to wither away here...aaaaaany minute.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Sounds like my diet.

Ah, another benefit of having more kids. Our fun-size diet only lasted about 3 days and ran dry.

Caramel candy corn? What is up with that nonsense?

I laugh because I love. It's like looking in a mirror sometimes.

That sounds like an EXCELLENT lifestyle change!

I'm so glad someone admitted how much of the halloween candy they are consuming. I swear, if I can just resist the first one I'm okay, but once I tear the first fun size wrapper, it is all over.

Tessie said...

Ooo, I love Mr. Goodbars. I find if you cleanse your palate with a little creamy chicken hotdish you can go back for more.

Caramel candy corn makes me feel a little barfy though.

I am so relieved it was THIS kind of diet. I saw your title in my feed reader and got depressed. :)

hooray for candy!

Pregnantly Plump said...

Now that sounds like a diet I could stick with! You could write a book called, "Fun-size me!" I would buy it.

BethanyWD said...

If it makes you feel any better I had 3 fun size packs of M&Ms and one full size Snickers this morning.

laughing mommy said...

fun size!

since i'm already fun size I want to be "mini".

hee!

Madmad,

your comment...
"it's all fun and games until you have to get a root canal..."

made me choke on my coffee.

can't stop laughing!

Sara said...

hmmm, that sounds like my kind of diet.....well, except for that carrot stick. What the hell is that? :)

I wonder what I would have said if I knew my parents were pilfering my halloween candy back then? I'm sure they were, because I SO am.

I actually wanted to ask you about the peppermint mocha creamer.....is it wet or dry? And what brand? I drink my coffee black but like to treat myself to cream every once in a while. This sounds like an alternative to Starbucks.... In any case, I can not find it in my grocery store.

SIGN ME UP! I'm all about lifestyle changes.

samantha jo campen said...

Yup, TOTALLY the skim milk.

We're rooting for you!

Kelsey said...

I've always thought it was kind of a cruel joke that the tiny bars were named fun size. Really? I think it is less fun when I have to unwrap at least 1/2 a dozen for a decent chocolate fix.

Swistle said...

Sara- It's Nestle CoffeeMate, and it's liquid. Which is TOO BAD, because otherwise I would buy SO MUCH and store it for the whole year. This flavor is seasonal, so it might not be in all stores yet. In my store, they have it next to the cream, along with other seasonal flavors involving pumpkin and spice and gingerbread and whatnot.

Now that is a great life style change!!!

Sounds a little too familiar. Please don't look in the trashcan next to my desk. Pleeeeze!

Hey, if you don't eat it, they will! And you don't need 5 hyped-up-on-candy kids running around!

I don't know if someone already wrote this in comment-form... I didn't read all the comments this time.
