Angel Season One Giveaway

I have Angel season one on DVD. I have watched it, and I really liked it a lot, but I don't plan to watch it again. I'd like to pass along the contagious Joss Whedon virus find a good home for it. It occurs to me that I could infect give it to one of you.

But how to decide who gets it? I suppose you could tell me sob stories of how pitiful and deserving you are, but that would be barfy and boring that would be sad.

A contest? Maybe, if there's a fun idea for one. A drawing? Meh. Insufficiently fun.

This assumes that more than one person would be interested in having it.

I have never seen Angel. Is it any good?

Oh, and for a contest...maybe a recipe search. The best wins. Brownies, cookies, cakes, something yummy like that.

I already have Angel Season One. Actually... we have all of them. (How geeky does that make us?)

Please, Colleen, having all of Angel doesn't make us geeky, it makes us have good taste.

Which season are you currently on, Swistle?

How about, for the contest, whoever comes the closest to dying, without actually dying, while doing the C25K wins. =)

Never seen angels, but I can get it through Netflix, so leave me out of the contest for now...

My father is recently addicted to "Angel". He is 63, all alone(except for us), no cable and only a DVD/VCR... He is one year cancer free as of Monday (kidney cancer). He is so addicted to "Angel" that he rented that awful "Hard Easy" movie that David B was in. That's just in case you decide to go with sob stories. ;) It is all true though.

I think Mrs.B wins. Just me personally.

Not to mention, I want to do unspeakable things to Agent Booth, David Boreanz's character on Bones. Not the actor, the character. So. Fricken. Frappin. Hot.

I should mention that the TV show _Angel_ is not about angels, but is in fact about a hottt vampire guy (evil turned good turned evil turned good) named Angel who fights demons to protect humans. Well, basically. I mean, he also sometimes fights bad humans. But basically his job is protecting humans from the dark side. Hotttly. Have I mentioned he wears a long leather coat that streams out behind him? Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Maybe I won't give away these DVDs after all.

Shelly-- I've just finished season one, and now I'm going to start renting season two from Netflix.

Marie Green-- I love it. But how do we measure misery? We have to figure this out anyway, for the Misery Awards.

Ooh, that sounds very nice. We love Firefly around here but haven't seen any Angel.

OOOH, I love Angel. I got Buffy season 1-5 on DVD before we had kids and I ran out of money for inconsequential tings like that. I'm sad that I never even started collecting the Angel ones. And I swear, someday I'll finish my collection

I was about to suggest the same as Marie Green. I *HEART* tv shows on dvd and haven't seen Angel. I'm not actually following the C25K program because I cannot canNOT follow directions. But I am getting back into running. And this morning I got a very dirty look from an old lady when I was running, pushing the double jogger, and used the F--- word too loudly in front of my kids. Because t was miserable, let me tell you, and the word just slipped right out.

And if this heat doesn't let up, it's possible that it could get even MORE miserable. What fun! Who can inflict the worse misery on themselves in the name of fitness! My misery is worse than yours!
